Surface at Barclays
This Saturday I managed to blag my way into the Premier Banking lounge at Barclays Bank in Piccadilly Circus (London). I’m certainly not premier banking material, but I wanted to see the new surface tables that they put in recently. The implementation and applications were done by Infusion (who also do lots of other cool surface stuff).
There are 3 tables in the lounge, and each has a spinning sphere you can interact with to find out more about the services available. The imbedded videos were pretty cool (they are of course resize-able and drag-able). It kept me entertained! The odd thing was that on a busy Saturday afternoon, the lounge was empty. And of course, it is a pity there was not mapping in this Surface implementation…
