BBC Sport’s Olympic Map

BBC have just released their interactive Olympic Map.  It is awesome and has even been built to incorporate twitter and blog posts during the event.  I love the use of Virtual Earth, their own map tiles and nicely designed icons.  Also a good idea to stick with aerial for a clean feel (rather than letting users switch map types). I would guess that they have used MapCruncher to generate their map tiles on top of the imagery.
